- you will discover how to make 'scumbles'

in all kinds of yarns, which you can then

put together to make a hat, bag, scarf or shawl

Course costs £45

including homemade farmhouse lunch,

all day tea and coffee,

finishing with homemade cake

at the end of the day.

You will need to bring knitting needles,

crochet hooks and sewing needles

(but these will also be on sale on the day)

and there is a charge of £10 for materials

Knitting an Heirloom Blanket

Thursday 13th January

at Bay Tree Cottage, Farthingstone

No matter if you are an absolute beginner

or a master with knitting needles

this day course is the ideal opportunity

to start a new hobby or pick up an old one.

You will learn how to design and make

your very own heart heirloom blanket.

The size of your finished blanket

will be up to you,

but what better time of year

to make something to snuggle up with

on cold winters evening.

There are 4 follow up evening sessions

available to provide ongoing support

with your project .

Course costs £75

plus £40 for all 4 evening sessions

to purchase on the day at 10% discount

Knitting a Winter Shrug

You will learn how to knit a cobweb fine,

kid mohair shawl

which you can then embellish

with a vast array of beautiful yarns

in all colours and textures,

to create the most beautiful winter shawl.

You might decide to make this shawl

as a Christmas present

but we can guarantee that once it is finished

you will not want to give it away!
